Lomba 17 Agustusan berlangsung sangat meriah di Sport Center Makodam XII/Tpr, Sabtu (17/8/2024).

Perayaan diisi dengan berbagai perlombaan yang diikuti oleh keluarga besar Kodam XII/Tpr garnisun Pontianak. Untuk kategori dewasa diantaranya, panjat pinang, tarik tambang LCR, perang bantal, balap karung, bakiak, estafet sarung, bawa galong dan naik sepeda diatas papan.

Lomba 17 Agustusan

Sedangkan lomba untuk anak diantaranya, makan kerupuk, masukkan pensil ke botol, balap kelereng dan giring bola dengan corong. Lomba berlangsung meriah. Para peserta antusias dan semangat mengikuti lomba. Usai lomba Pangdam XII/Tpr makan bersama dengan keluarga besar Kodam XII/Tpr. Minggu (18/8/2024).

Dalam sambutannya, Pangdam XII/Tpr Mayjen TNI Iwan Setiawan mengatakan, berbagai perlombaan tersebut digelar oleh Satuan untuk memeriahkan Hari Ulang Tahun ke-79 Kemerdekaan Republik Indonesia.

Mayjen TNI Iwan Setiawan menyampaikan, kegiatan ini merupakan yang kedua kalinya selama dirinya menjabat Pangdam XII/Tpr. Tahun ini menurutnya lebih bagus dan meriah. Perlombaan semakin banyak dan pesertanya juga semakin bertambah.

“Saya harapkan ke depan semakin lebih bagus. Lebih semangat dan bergembira. Agar suasana kebersamaan dan kekeluargaan dapat dirasakan oleh prajurit, PNS, keluarga dan masyarakat yang ada di Kalimantan Barat khususnya di Pontianak,” harap Mayjen TNI Iwan Setiawan.
