XPOSE TV//Lombok Tengah, NTB – Anggota Polsek Praya Timur berhasil mengembalikan satu unit sepeda motor Honda Supra X 125 yang ditemukan di kebun oleh warga kepada pemiliknya. Peristiwa ini terjadi pada Minggu (04/08/2024), ketika warga Dusun Peras, Desa Kidang, Kecamatan Praya Timur Kabupaten Lombok Tengah (Loteng) Provinsi Nusa Tenggara Barat (NTB) menemukan kendaraan tersebut terparkir di area perkebunan. Selasa (6/8/24).
Kapolres Lombok Tengah, AKBP Iwan Hidayat SIK., melalui Kapolsek Praya Timur Iptu Jalaluddin, menjelaskan bahwa sepeda motor tersebut pertama kali ditemukan oleh seorang warga setempat, Sdri. Risah, sekitar pukul 07:00 WITA saat ia hendak pergi bekerja ke kebun. Mengira motor tersebut milik Kepala Dusun Blongsong, ia pun tidak terlalu memedulikan keberadaannya.
Namun, ketika kembali dari kebun sekitar pukul 13:30 WITA, Risah melihat bahwa sepeda motor tersebut masih terparkir di tempat yang sama. Dengan rasa penasaran, ia bertanya kepada Kepala Dusun Blongsong mengenai motor tersebut. Kepala Dusun kemudian menjelaskan bahwa motor tersebut bukan miliknya karena motor miliknya ada di rumah.
Setelah mendengar penjelasan Kepala Dusun, Risah mengajak beberapa warga untuk memeriksa lokasi penemuan motor tersebut. Setelah memastikan bahwa motor itu bukan milik warga setempat, mereka segera melaporkannya ke Polsek Praya Timur.
Petugas Polsek kemudian mengamankan sepeda motor tersebut dan melakukan koordinasi untuk menemukan pemilik resminya. Setelah dilakukan pengecekan, ditemukan bahwa pemilik kendaraan tersebut adalah Laman (50), warga Dusun Semogong, Desa Kidang, Kecamatan Praya Timur, Kabupaten Lombok Tengah (Loteng) Provinsi Nusa Tenggara Barat (NTB).
“Setelah memverifikasi dokumen kepemilikan dengan kondisi fisik sepeda motor, kendaraan tersebut oleh anggota Polsek Praya Timur menyerahkan kembali kepada pemiliknya, Sdr. Laman,” ungkap Iptu Jalaluddin.
Laman menjelaskan bahwa motornya hilang dicuri pada tanggal 4 Agustus sekitar pukul 03.00 WITA dan baru diketahui hilang menjelang subuh. Dengan pengembalian ini, Laman mengucapkan terima kasih kepada warga dan pihak kepolisian yang telah membantu menemukan dan mengembalikan motornya.
