“Kami di Dengilo sudah mulai melakukan penimbunan kubangan yang tidak dipakai lagi. Meskipun bertahap, tapi ini bentuk komitmen kami agar aktivitas tambang tidak meninggalkan masalah untuk masyarakat sekitar. Apa yang disampaikan YR Team itu benar, lingkungan yang rusak akhirnya merugikan kami sendiri juga,” ungkapnya.
Ia menegaskan bahwa ajakan YR Team memberi perspektif baru bagi para pelaku usaha PETI: bahwa perolehan ekonomi tetap bisa berjalan tanpa meninggalkan jejak kerusakan yang berbahaya.
Ketua YR Team Kecamatan Dengilo, Iskandar Dalangko, S.IP., memberikan apresiasi atas respons positif para pelaku PETI yang mulai melakukan penimbunan.
