Sulut – XposeTV. Polri Resmi Luncurkan e-BPKB untuk Kendaraan Roda Empat, Sistem Lebih Aman dan Praktis. Kepolisian Republik Indonesia (Polri) resmi memperkenalkan Buku Pemilik Kendaraan Bermotor elektronik atau e-BPKBuntuk kendaraan roda empat. Inovasi ini diharapkan dapat meningkatkan keamanan dokumen kendaraan dan mengurangi risiko pemalsuan.
Kasi BPKB AKP Rocky Jusnami SIK.MK menjelaskan kepada awak media pada Jumat 07/03/25 diruang kerjanya bahwa isi e-BPKB tetap sama seperti BPKB konvensional, tetapi dengan sistem digital yang lebih aman dan efisien. “Kalau e-BPKB ini hanya polisi yang dapat mengisinya, sehingga tidak bisa dipalsukan oleh pihak yang tidak bertanggung jawab,” ujarnya.
Penerapan e-BPKB saat ini baru berlaku untuk kendaraan roda empat, sementara kendaraan roda dua masih menggunakan BPKB fisik. Dengan sistem baru ini, masyarakat diharapkan lebih mudah dalam proses administrasi kendaraan mereka, serta mendapatkan jaminan keamanan terhadap dokumen kepemilikan kendaraan.

Program e-BPKB ini merupakan bagian dari upaya Polri dalam digitalisasi layanan publik, guna memberikan kemudahan dan kenyamanan bagi masyarakat. Ke depan, Polri juga berencana memperluas penerapan e-BPKB untuk kendaraan roda dua.
Dengan hadirnya sistem e-BPKB, diharapkan transparansi dan akurasi data kendaraan semakin meningkat, serta memperkecil peluang praktik ilegal seperti pemalsuan dan manipulasi dokumen kendaraan.
