Selain para peserta yang bertanding, diajang koi show ini juga sebagai wadah silaturahmi para penjual, penghobi dan farm koi se-Indonesia.

Dengan adanya kontes semacam ini dapat menaikkan nilai jual ikan koi. Apalagi jika lingkupnya sudah nasional dan diikuti oleh berbagai penjuru tanah air. Dan juga kontes ini upaya mengedukasi terkait bagaimana merawat dan mengembangbiakkan ikan koi.

Di hari kedua, terdapat tiga sesi penuurian, Penjurian Sesi I, Ikan Ukuran mulai dari 56 cm hingga 65 cm, Penjurian Sesi II Ikan Ukuran Up to 12 cm sampai sengan 35 cm, dan yang terakhir Penjurian Sesi III Ikan Ukuran dari 36 cm sampai 55 cm.
