GOWA – Kapolres Gowa AKBP R.T.S Simanjuntak, bersama Bupati Gowa Adnan Purichta Ichsan dan unsur Forkopimda menyambut kunjungan kerja Kapolda Sulsel, Irjen Pol Yudhiawan, di Polres Gowa.
Kedatangan Kapolda Sulsel turut didampingi Ketua Bhayangkari Daerah Sulsel, Ny. Yunita Yudhiawan, serta para Pejabat Utama (PJU) Polda Sulsel, Rabu (12/2/2025).
Sebagai bentuk penghormatan, Kapolda Sulsel disambut dengan pengalungan sarung sutra oleh Kapolres Gowa. Tradisi “Angngaru” dan tarian “Paduppa” yang dibawakan oleh Polwan Polres Gowa semakin menambah nuansa.
Dalam kunjungan ini, Kapolda Sulsel bersama Bupati Gowa meresmikan penggunaan ruang Electronic Traffic Law Enforcement (ETLE) serta sarana dan prasarana ETLE Polres Gowa. Peresmian ditandai dengan penekanan tombol sirine dan pembukaan tirai. Dengan sistem ini, pelanggaran dapat terpantau secara digital dan tilang dapat diberikan secara lebih transparan serta akurat.
Selain itu, Kapolda Sulsel bersama Bupati Gowa juga meresmikan Gedung Ruang Tahanan Polres Gowa dengan pengguntingan pita dan penandatanganan prasasti sebagai simbolisasi peresmian Ruang Tahanan baru.
Kapolda Sulsel meninjau langsung fasilitas yang telah disiapkan, memastikan kelayakan dan keamanan bagi tahanan yang berada di Polres Gowa.
Usai peresmian, kegiatan dilanjutkan dengan arahan Kapolda Sulsel di Aula Rewako Wicaksana Laghawa Polres Gowa. Sebelumnya, Kapolres Gowa memberikan sambutan dan laporan kesatuan kepada Kapolda.
Dalam arahannya, Kapolda Sulsel menekankan agar seluruh personel menghindari penyalahgunaan narkoba, tidak melakukan pelanggaran, menjauhi tindak pidana korupsi, serta tidak terlibat judi online maupun perselingkuhan yang dapat berdampak pada kedinasan.
Dalam kesempatan ini, Kapolda Sulsel juga menyerahkan kunci secara simbolis bantuan rumah kepada AIPTU Muh. Nur, personel Polres Gowa yang berdedikasi. Selain itu, Kapolda memberikan piagam penghargaan kepada Direktur PT Hidayat Anugerah Pratama, H. Darwis Dg Nai, atas dukungan dan bantuannya dalam memberikan satu unit rumah bagi personel Polres Gowa.
Sebagai penutup, Kapolres Gowa menyerahkan plakat kepada Kapolda Sulsel, yang kemudian dibalas dengan penyerahan plakat dari Kapolda kepada Kapolres Gowa.
Kapolda juga menyerahkan bibit jagung dari Kementerian Pertanian kepada Kapolres Gowa sebagai bentuk dukungan terhadap sektor pertanian di wilayah Kabupaten Gowa.
