Bojonegoro, XposeTv.live – Bupati Bojonegoro Setyo Wahono terus membuka peluang untuk kemajuan Bojonegoro dengan bertemu sejumlah pejabat lembaga dan kementerian. Pada Kamis (13/3/2025), Bupati Wahono bertemu Menteri Pemuda dan Olahraga (Menpora), Ario Bimo Nandito Ariotedjo di Jakarta.
Kedatangan Bupati Setyo Wahono ke Kementerian Pemuda dan Olahraga ini membawa misi untuk berkolaborasi membangun dan menggalakkan kompetisi olahraga nasional agar bisa dibawa ke Kabupaten Bojonegoro.
Bupati Wahono optimis jika sportainment dan event-event olahraga nasional dibawa ke Bojonegoro, akan berdampak memberi peluang dan kesempatan bagi masyarakat Bojonegoro untuk berpartisasipasi dan terlibat di dalamnya. Dampak lain adalah memotivasi para atlet Bojonegoro untuk terus berkembang lebih maju.
“Dalam pertemuan tadi kami sampaikan kepada Mas Menteri bahwa Bojonegoro sekarang ini sedang membangun ekosistem talenta olahraga dan membutuhkan dukungan dan sinergitas dari Kementerian Pemuda dan Olahraga,” kata Bupati Wahono.
Kepada Menpora, Bupati juga menyampaikan permintaan dukungan untuk berkolaborasi membangun kawasan sport center di Kabupaten Bojonegoro. Kawasan sport center ini nantinya dilengkapi dengan stadion, gelanggang olah raga (GOR) dan fasilitas olahraga lainnya. 
“Prinsipnya, Mas Menteri siap bersinergi, berkolaborasi dan bekerja sama dengan Pemkab Bojonegoro untuk mewujudkan itu,” tegas Bupati Wahono.
Sementara itu, Menpora Ario Bimo Nandito Ariotedjo menyambut baik dan mendukung gagasan yang disampaikan Bupati Wahono. Yakni rencana membangun sportainment dan memajukan olahraga Bojonegoro.
“Kami siap bawa kegiatan sportainment ke Bojonegoro untuk mempromosikan Bojonegoro ke level nasional,” tegasnya.
Menpora juga menyampaikan siap bersinergi untuk memberikan pelatihan dan pendampingan bagi para pemuda Bojonegoro.
