Dari Hasil penangkapan itu 2 orang diamankan, F (30) sebagai pemilik dan E (40) sebagai pekerja.

Beserta barang bukti juga diamankan berupa gas 3 kg (42 tabung), Tabung gas non subsidi 12 kg (8 tabung), timbangan 1 unit, alat spuyer 5 buah, baskom es batu dan peralatan obeng 1 set.

Tim BAIS (Badan Intelijen Strategis) TNI berhasil mengungkap dan menggrebek aktivitas pengoplosan atau penyulingan gas subsidi yang berlokasi di Pantai Olang, Kelurahan Sirantau, Kecamatan Datuk Bandar, Kota Tanjungbalai, Sabtu (13/7/2024) lalu.

Atas keberhasilan itu, sejumlah warga menyampaikan ucapan TERIMA KASIH kepada Tim BAIS walaupun dalam penggrebekan harus meminta penambahan personil dari Polres Tanjungbalai karena proses lanjut diserahkan kepada pihak kepolisian setempat.

” Yang kita tau, Baru Tim BAIS TNI yang pertama hadir dan menggrebek lokasi pengoplosan elpiji. Wajar kita sampaikan ucapan terima kasih dan Apresiasi kepada BAIS,” ujar ningsih (53) warga Kecamatan Datuk Bandar, Kota Tanjungbalai didampingi sejumlah warga masyarakat setempat, kepada XPOSE TV, Selasa (16/7/2024) di salah satu warung di Pantai Olang, Kelurahan Sirantau, Kecamatan Datuk Bandar, Kota Tanjungbalai.

Ningsih atas nama warga sekitar lokasi mengakui bahwa penggrebekan lokasi pengoplos elpiji tersebut sangat dinanti-nanti warga sekitar karena sangat merugikan warga dan negara. ” Imbas dari pengoplosan, selain merugikan warga dan negara juga menimbulkan rasa ketakutan bagi kami warga sekitar karena rentan dengan kebakaran. Inilah rasa ketakutan kita yang terbesar. Bagaimana bila terjadi ledakan dan kebakaran apa gak hangus rumah warga disini,” sebut Ningsih.

Dalam kesempatan itu, Ningsih mendesak agar pihak Polres Tanjungbalai benar – benar memproses kasus itu dengan sebaik-baiknya agar warga lainnya tidak lagi mengikuti untuk melakukan pengeplosan elpiji bersubsidi.

“Kita ketahui ada 2 orang yang diamankan, pemilik dan pekerja. Kita mendesak Polres Tanjungbalai bekerja secara profesional dan transparan, tidak bermain api atau neko – neko. Kita siap mengkawal kasusnya hingga dilimpahkan ke pengadilan,” pungkas Ningsih.
