Alas Barat, Sumbawa – Dalam upaya mendukung program penghijauan lingkungan serta menjaga kelestarian alam di wilayah binaan, Babinsa Koramil 1607-04/Alas, Serka Yuliadi, melaksanakan kegiatan penanaman pohon ketapang di sekeliling Lapangan Bola Desa Jurumapin, Kecamatan Buer, Kabupaten Sumbawa, Jum’at (06/02/2026)
Kegiatan penanaman pohon ketapang tersebut merupakan langkah nyata dalam menciptakan lingkungan yang hijau, asri, dan nyaman bagi masyarakat. Selain itu, pohon ketapang dipilih karena memiliki daya tahan yang baik terhadap kondisi cuaca serta mampu memberikan keteduhan dalam jangka panjang.
Serka Yuliadi menyampaikan bahwa penanaman pohon ketapang merupakan investasi jangka panjang untuk mendukung program penghijauan lingkungan. Dengan adanya pohon pelindung di sekitar lapangan, diharapkan dapat memberikan manfaat bagi masyarakat, khususnya dalam menciptakan area terbuka hijau yang sejuk dan nyaman untuk aktivitas olahraga maupun kegiatan sosial masyarakat.
Kegiatan ini juga menjadi bagian dari upaya pembinaan teritorial TNI AD dalam meningkatkan kepedulian masyarakat terhadap pentingnya menjaga kelestarian lingkungan. Melalui kegiatan penghijauan, diharapkan masyarakat semakin sadar akan pentingnya menjaga ekosistem dan memanfaatkan ruang terbuka hijau secara bijak.
Selain untuk menjaga keseimbangan lingkungan, penanaman pohon ini juga bertujuan untuk memperindah kawasan fasilitas umum desa serta memberikan manfaat jangka panjang bagi generasi mendatang.
Dengan dilaksanakannya kegiatan ini, diharapkan Lapangan Bola Desa Jurumapin dapat menjadi kawasan yang lebih hijau, asri, dan nyaman, sekaligus menjadi contoh bagi wilayah lain dalam menjaga dan melestarikan lingkungan secara bersama-sama.
