Menurut Kepala DP2CKTR Kabupaten Sidoarjo Bachruni Aryawan, program ini merupakan bagian dari upaya Pemkab untuk memastikan sanitasi aman bagi seluruh warga Sidoarjo.
“Kerjasama ini tidak hanya memberikan solusi terhadap masalah sanitasi, tetapi juga menawarkan skema pembiayaan yang terjangkau bagi masyarakat melalui tabungan di BPR Delta Artha,” ungkapnya.
Tandatangani MoU s ementara Direktur Utama PT BPR Delta Artha Sofia Nurkrisnajati Atmaja menyampaikan bahwa melalui layanan ini, masyarakat dapat menabung secara rutin di BPR Delta Artha untuk kemudian digunakan sebagai biaya penyedotan lumpur tinja.
Skema ini diharapkan dapat meringankan beban finansial masyarakat sekaligus memastikan pengelolaan limbah yang lebih baik dan ramah lingkungan.
“Kami berkomitmen untuk mendukung program pemerintah dalam meningkatkan kualitas lingkungan hidup. Dengan skema tabungan TAMMARA – LLTT (Tabungan Masyarakat Menuju Sejahtera – Layanan Lumpur Tinja Terjadwal) ini, kami ingin memastikan bahwa layanan sanitasi dapat diakses oleh seluruh lapisan masyarakat dengan cara yang lebih mudah dan terencana,” ungkapnya.
Sementara Private Sector Engagement & Innovative Finance Specialist USAID IUWASH Tangguh (Regional Jatim – NTT) Dwi Angkasa Wasis menyebut, langkah ini merupakan bentuk keseriusan Pemerintah Kabupaten Sidoarjo untuk menciptakan lingkungan yang sehat.

Nah kesadaran itu yang saat ini gencar dilakukan,” urainya.
Kepala UPTD Pembangunan Air Limbah Domestik (PALD) Sidoarjo, Indah Nurshanti berharap program penyedotan dan pengolahan lumpur tinja yang aman dan efisien dapat segera diimplementasikan di seluruh wilayah Sidoarjo melalui tabungan dengan kurun waktu 36 bulan, bebas biaya, dan dengan biaya setoran Rp 10.000/bulan ini.
“Kami masih mengejar sanitasi aman ini, karena tercatat di data kami masih jauh dari target menuju sanitasi aman. Dari target penduduk Sidoarjo sebanyak 2 juta 500 jiwa masih sebanyak 16 ribu jiwa yang sudah melakukan penyedotan tinja di kami,” ungkapnya.
