Xpose tv.live, SIDOARJO – Polresta Sidoarjo kembali membongkar arena yang diduga digunakan judi sabung ayam di Dua lokasi yang berbeda.
Kapolresta Sidoarjo, Kombes Pol Christian Tobing melalui Kasi Humas, AKP Tri Novi Handono mengatakan lokasi pertama di Desa Jatikalang Kecamatan Prambon dan lokasi kedua di Desa Kemangsen Kecamatan Balongbendo.
AKP Tri Novi mengungkapkan, pembongkaran lokasi sabung ayam tersebut berawal dari laporan warga setempat yang merasa terganggu dengan aktivitas sabung ayam yang kerap disertai judi.
“Menindaklanjuti laporan warga setempat, anggota dari Polsek Balongbendo dan Polsek Prambon langsung menuju lokasi dan melakukan pembongkaran,” ujar AKP Novi, Senin (2/2/26).
Namun saat Polisi mendatangi Dua lokasi tersebut, arena sabung ayam tampak sepi dan hanya ada sangkar dan sarana yang biasa digunakan untuk sabung ayam.
Untuk mencegah arena tersebut digunakan lagi, Polisi bersama tokoh masyarakat membongkar dan membakar sarana yang ada di arena sabung ayam.
Kasi Humas Polresta Sidoarjo menegaskan, pihaknya tetap berkomitmen akan memberantas segala bentuk perjudian.
Ia juga meminta warga agar segera melaporkan ke Polsek terdekat jika mengetahui ada praktek perjudian apapun, termasuk sabung ayam.
Selain itu, masyarakat juga bisa melaporkan lewat layanan gratis bebas pulsa di call center 110.
“Peran serta masyarakat sangat kami harapkan. Laporkan segera bila mengalami ataupun mengetahui tindak kejahatan,” pungkas AKP Novi.
