XPOSE TV//Lombok Tengah, NTB – Polres Lombok Tengah (Loteng) bersama stakeholder terkait bergerak cepat evakuasi warga yang terdampak banjir di empat Desa di Kecamatan Pujut Kabupaten Lombok Tengah Provinsi Nusa Tenggara Barat. Rabu (12/2/2025).
Hujan deras disertai angin kencang mengguyur wilayah tersebut menyebabkan setidaknya ratusan rumah warga terdampak banjir dan mengakibatkan akses jalan utama antar desa terputus.
Kapolres Lombok Tengah AKBP Iwan Hidayat SIK, melalui Kapolsek Pujut IPTU R. Kalimantan Jaya, SH mengatakan pihaknya bersama TNI, BPBD dan Pemerintah Daerah turun langsung ke lokasi untuk memastikan keselamatan warga.
“Kami Polres Loteng bersama instansi terkait telah menerjunkan personel gabungan ke titik – titik terdampak guna membantu mengevakuasi warga, terutama lansia dan anak-anak,” ujar Kapolsek IPTU R. Kalimantan Jaya, SH, Rabu (12/2).
Ia menyampaikan setidaknya tiga Desa terdiri dari Desa Dadap, Desa Gapura dan Desa Bangket Parak terendam akibat banjir dan mengakibatkan setidaknya 460 Kepala Keluarga (KK) terdampak.
Menurut Kapolsek banjir diakibatkan oleh luapan aliran sungai dari beberapa diwilayah yang bermuara di lokasi tersebut. Sehingga lokasi tersebut merupakan langganan banjir yang terjadi setiap tahunnya.
“Beberapa warga yang terdampak banjir sebagian sudah kita evakuasi ke tempat yang lebih aman dan sebagian warga masih menepati rumah mereka karena warga disini mayoritas adalah petani dan memiliki hewan ternak yang harus mereka jaga,” ungkapnya.
Saat ini situasi sementara dilokasi banjir tepatnya di Desa Dadap dan Desa Gapura sudah berangsur menurun. Aparat kepolisian bersama stakeholder terkait masih melakukan evakuasi dan pemantauan.
“Kami mengimbau kepada warga untuk tetap tenang dan waspada apabila kembali terjadi hujan lebat disertai angin kencang agar segera menyelamatkan diri ketempat yang lebih aman, selain itu kami akan membantu evakuasi,” jelasnya.
