Acara tersebut dipimpin langsung oleh Kapolda Gorontalo Irjen Pol. Drs. Angesta Romano Yoyol, M.M dan dihadiri Waka Polda Gorontalo, Pejabat Utama, Kapolres/ta jajaran serta Insan Pers Se-Provinsi Gorontalo.

Dalam paparannya Kapolda menyampaikan bahwa Polda Gorontalo telah berhasil melakukan berbagai pencapaian signifikan dalam menjalankan tugas dan tanggung jawabnya.

” Ada beberapa pencapaian yang disorot dalam Rilis Akhir Tahun ini, yakni antara lain peningkatan tingkat penyelesaian kasus kriminal, upaya pencegahan kejahatan dan keterlibatan Polda Gorontalo dalam kegiatan-kegiatan masyarakat yang bertujuan untuk membangun hubungan yang positif antara Kepolisian dan warga,” ujarnya.

Sebelumnya juga di acara yang sama Kabid Humas Polda Gorontalo Kombes Pol Desmont Harjendro A.P, S.I.K., M.T dalam laporan singkatnya menyampaikan Rilis Akhir Tahun adalah kegiatan yang di laksanakan oleh Bidang Humas Polda Gorontalo untuk menyampaikan kepada masyarakat terkait kinerja Polda Gorontalo dan jajaran yg telah dilakukan di tahun 2023.

” Kami Polda Gorontalo sangat berterima kasih kepada masyarakat dan insan pers yang sangat antusias dalam membantu Polda Gorontalo dan jajarannya dalam memberikan informasi kepada masyarakat secara akurat, serta memviralkan giat-giat positif Polda Gorontalo, agar pelaksanaan tugas dapat berjalan dengan baik,” tandasnya.

Lebih lanjut Polda Gorontalo terus berupaya memberikan pelayanan terbaik kepada masyarakat serta menjaga kepercayaan yang telah diberikan kepada Institusi Polri.

Di pertengahan berlangsungnya pelaksanaan giat ini dibukalah sesi tanggapan dari para insan pers kepada pihak Polda Gorontalo, yang antara lain untuk memberikan saran/ masukkan, pendapat dan kritik guna meningkatan keberhasilan Polda Gorontalo ke depan.

Kapolda dalam keterangannya menyampaikan berbagai hal yang berkaitan dengan bidang pembinaan mulai dari sejumlah penghargaan dan prestasi yang telah diukir bersama jajaran, termasuk peningkatan rekrutmen SDM bila dibandingkan tahun 2022.

Tahun ini ada sebanyak 416 orang termasuk didalamnya peningkatan jumlah Polwan yakni 21 orang, dibandingkan tahun kemarin hanya 360 orang dengan hanya 5 polwan,” tuturnya.

Lanjut dia, selama tahun 2023 Polda telah memberhentikan tidak dengan hormat (PTDH) 13 anggota POLRI, satunoeanf masih dalam proses banding.

Selain memaparkan jumlah kasus atau tindak pidana serta presentase penyelesaian perkara, Jenderal Bintang Dua ini turut mengungkap penanganan kasus yang menjadi atensi atau perhatian publik.

“Tindak pidana pertambangan emas tanpa ijin sejumlah 8 kasus, pertambangan mineral dan baru bara berupa batu hitam sejumlah 3 kasus, merkuri 2 kasus kemudian tindak pidana migas sebanyak 2 kasus,” sambungnya.

Ia melanjutkan, kejahatan narkoba pada tahun ini mengalami peningkatan baik dari jumlah dan barang bukti bila dibandingkan tahun sebelumnya.

“Jumlah kejahatan narkoba kali ini mengalami kenaikan sebesar 10,71 persen, sementara peningkatan barang bukti yang berhasil disita berupa narkotika jenis sabu-sabu sebanyak 28,793 gram, Ganja 744 gram, dan Gorila 11, 58 gram,” imbuhnya.

Dalam rangka pencegahan peredaran narkoba dan miras, Polda juga telah melaunching Kampung bebas narkoba yang berjumlah 52 lokasi, kedepan ini akan terus bertambah disetiap desa dan kelurahan.

Irjen Pol Drs. Angesta Romano Yoyol, M.M menyampaikan inovasi dan program unggulan dalam menunjang keberhasilan tupoksi dan meningkatkan kepercayaan masyarakat.

“Kita ada ngopi bareng polisi (Ngopi), hotline layanan pengaduan masyarakat, Signal atau Samsat digital nasional, ETLE kita sudah punya 5, group Facebook Quick Respon Polda dan Polopalo,” cetusnya.

Diakhir keterangan Kapolda turut memberikan himbauan dan harapan di tahun 2024 nanti, yakni:

1. Seluruh lapisan masyarakat diharapkan turut aktif menjaga Situas’ Kamtibmas agar selalu dalam situasi Kondusif (SARA).

2. Menghadapi tahun Politik, masyarakat dihimbau untuk tetap jaga kerukunan, hargai perbedaan, laksanakan tahapan Pemilu dengan aman dan kondusif.

3. Masyarakat dihimbau terus meningkatkan Kewaspadaan terhadap Segala Potensi gangguan Kamtibmas, termasuk pengaruh paham radikal, intoleran, ujaran kebencian juga Ajakan provokatif yang dapat menimbulkan konflik perpecahan.
