MANADO – XposeTV. Pimpinan organisasi Pers DPD Pro Jurnalismedia Siber (PJS) Sulawesi Utara menegaskan akan mengawal pelaksanaan program Presiden Prabowo Subianto bersama Wakil Presiden Gibran Rakabuming Raka di Sulawesi Utara.
Hal ini disampaikan oleh Ketua DPD PJS Sulut Butje Lengkong bersama Steven Pande-iroot selaku Sekretaris DPD PJS Sulut usai melakukan rapat koordinasi bersama para pengurus dan anggota DPC PJS Kota Manado, Sabtu (12/04/2025) sore di RK komplek Lapangan KONI Sulut.
Lebih lanjut diterangkan oleh Steven Pande-iroot bahwa pers memiliki peran yang sangat penting di dalam proses pembangunan negara, baik itu sebagai jembatan informasi dan juga dapat melakukan kontrol sosial sebagaimana amanat UU RI Nomor 40 tentang Pers.
” Pers memiliki peran yang sangat penting,” ucap Steven Pande-iroot.
Ditambahkan juga oleh Butje Lengkong bahwa Pers dapat juga menjadi wahana edukasi dan pendidikan bagi masyarakat.
