Dalam upaya menjamin keamanan dan kelancaran berlangsungnya nataru (natal dan tahun baru) Polresta Gorontalo Kota siapkan 5 Pos yakni 2 Pos Pengamanan,2 Pos Terpadu dan 1 Pos Pelayanan Selama berlangsungnya operasi lilin Otanaha 2024.
Kapolresta Gorontalo Kota Kombespol Dr. Ade Permana,S.I.K.,MH melalui kabag Ops Kompol Suharjo,SE Mengatakan bahwa tujuan didirikannya pos pelayanan, Pos terpadu maupun pos pengamanan selama berlangsungnya kegiatan operasi lilin Otanaha 2024 agar pelaksanaan hari raya Natal pada 25 Desember 2024 Maupun malam pergantian tahun 2025 nanti dapat berjalan dengan aman dan kondusif.
“Jadi sejak Sabtu 21 Desember 2024,personil polresta Gorontalo Kota yang sudah disiagakan sudah menempati pos sesuai plotingan”, Ujar Kabag Ops.

Lebih lanjut Kompol Suharjo mengatakan bahwa Situasi Kamtibmas kota Gorontalo di pantau melalui pos-pos yang telah dirikan tersebut,selain itu personil Polresta Gorontalo Kota juga secara langsung melakukan pengamanan di gereja-gereja yang melaksanakan kegiatan ibadah serta lokasi- lokasi Yang menjadi titik Keramaian.
Diharapkan kehadiran personil polresta Gorontalo Kota ini bisa membuat masyarakat merasa aman dan nyaman dalam melaksanakan Ibadahnya, tutup Kompol Suharjo
