M. Ainur Rahman juga menjelaskan secara singkat tentang Kabupaten Sidoarjo. Kabupaten Sidoarjo sebagai salah satu penyangga Ibu Kota Provinsi Jawa Timur yang memiliki luas wilayah 714,24 KM2 . Dengan batas sebelah utara adalah Kota Surabaya dan Kabupaten Gresik. Sebelah selatan adalah Kabupaten Pasuruan, sebelah Timur adalah Selat Madura dan sebelah Barat Kabupaten Mojokerto. Sidoarjo terdiri dari 18 Kecamatan yang terbagi dalam 322 Desa dan 31 Kelurahan, yang dihuni kurang lebih 2.002.830 jiwa.
Kegiatan Visitasi tersebut mengambil tema Inovasi Digital pada Tata Kelola Pemerintah yang Berwawasan ke depan. Tema tersebut diambil karena pemerintah dituntut untuk lebih adaptif dan inovatif dalam memberikan pelayanan kepada masyarakat. Teknologi digital bukan hanya alat, tetapi juga pendorong utama dalam transformasi tata kelola pemerintah.
“Di Sidoarjo, kami telah melakukan inovasi pelayanan publik dengan memanfaatkan teknologi digital dalam berbagai aspek, untuk meningkatkan partisipasi masyarakat melalui platform digital,” katanya.
