Sejak subuh, ratusan warga mulai memadati jalanan, taman, dan tempat-tempat terbuka untuk menghirup udara segar dan bercengkrama bersama keluarga serta kerabat.

Tradisi ini sudah berlangsung turun-temurun di kalangan masyarakat setempat. Selain menjadi ajang silaturahmi, kegiatan ini juga dimanfaatkan untuk berolahraga ringan seperti berjalan kaki atau bersepeda.
Selain itu, Dengan adanya tradisi ini, masyarakat berharap bulan Ramadhan dapat dijalani dengan penuh kebersamaan dan ketenangan. berharap suasana harmonis di hari pertama puasa ini terus terjaga hingga akhir bulan suci.
