Lutfi mengungkapkan banyak pelaku usaha di sektor ini yang belum mengetahui hak-hak mereka terkait Nomor Induk Berusaha (NIB) atau manfaat BPJS Ketenagakerjaan, seperti perlindungan kerja untuk wiraswasta dan pekerja informal.
“Kami ingin agar para pelaku ekonomi kreatif ini memahami bahwa mereka juga berhak mendapatkan NIB dan BPJS Ketenagakerjaan, yang penting untuk melindungi mereka dari risiko kecelakaan kerja,” ujar Lutfi. Ia menambahkan bahwa melalui pameran ini, MAKI dan Pemprov Jatim ingin meningkatkan kesadaran mengenai perlindungan tenaga kerja bagi pelaku ekonomi kreatif di Jawa Timur.
Acara yang berlangsung selama lima hari ini menargetkan sekitar 2.000 pengunjung per hari, dengan total target 10.000 pengunjung. Selain menjadi ajang pameran produk UMKM dan ekonomi kreatif, JEEF 2024 juga dirancang agar sarat akan hiburan dan edukasi publik. Pameran akan diisi oleh berbagai atraksi, mulai dari hiburan musik, edukasi layanan publik langsung, hingga deklarasi anti-bullying yang akan melibatkan siswa dari jenjang PAUD, TK, hingga SMA.
