“Tidak terasa kemarin seleksi tingkat kecamatan telah kita laksanakan, dan sampailah pada hari ini di babak final, yang tidak hanya diikuti oleh peserta dari Kota Kediri saja tapi dari eks Karisidenan Kediri. Antusiasme makin banyak peminat dan semangat yang sangat luar biasa,”ujar Sekretaris Dinas Pendidikan Kota Kediri Marsudi mewakili kehadiran Kepala Dinas Pendidikan saat membuka final round COIN EMAS di Hutan Joyoboyo.
Tidak terasa dalam perjalanannya, EMAS mendapat tempat yang istimewa di hati masyarakat Kota Kediri. Tak cukup hanya istimewa tapi EMAS juga memberikan kabar gembira. Dimana sepekan lalu program EMAS telah lolos dalam 45 Top Pelayanan Publik seluruh Indonesia dan berkesempatan mendapatkan penghargaan dari Kementerian Pendayagunaan Aparatur Negara dan Reformasi Birokrasi atas inovasi pelayanan publik terpuji. “Kalau memang itu babak terakhir Alhamdulillah, jika memang masih ada tahapan selanjutnya kami mohon doa restu dan dukungan panjenengan sekalian,”ujarnya.

Sesuai tema COIN EMAS 2023, Envisioning the Future through English dan keberhasilan EMAS sebagai pendidikan non formal, menurut Marsudi Dinas Pendidikan berencana mengajak bapak-ibu guru Bahasa Inggris untuk berlatih dan berkolaborasi dengan pengelola dan tutor EMAS. “Itulah salah satu pengembangan yang sedang dilakukan Dinas Pendidikan Kota Kediri. Yang non formal tetap jalan, tapi kita berikan pelayanan bagi pendidikan formal juga. Rencana ini akan kita mulai dari jenjang SD sebagai pengembangan, dengan harapan akan lebih banyak masyarakat yang bisa mendapatkan pelayanan dari Pemkot Kediri melalui EMAS,”jelasnya.
Tak lupa, Marsudi juga mengucapkan terima kasih kepada seluruh pihak yang telah mendukung jalannya COIN EMAS, baik itu Bank Indonesia, Bank Jatim, Grab, McD, Biznet dan seluruh panitia COIN EMAS.
