Kabupaten Gorontalo – XposeTV. Longsor di bilato. Akibat curah hujan yang tinggi, tanah longsor kembali terjadi di perbatasan Desa Juria – Totopo Kecamatan Bilato Kabupaten Gorontalo pada Jum’at (11/4/2025) sekitar pukul 17.00 WITA.
Peristiwa tersebut mengakibatkan sebagian badan jalan disekitarnya tertutup material longsor dan bebatuan yang mengakibatkan pengendara harus mengantri dan berhati-hati melewatinya.
Meski demikian, ada hal menarik dalam peristiwa tersebut. Pasalnya ada seorang pemuda yang tampak membersihkan material longsor serta memungut bebatuan satu per satu untuk disingkirkanya dari jalan raya. Ia melakukannya sendirian dan tanpa perintah dari siapapun.
Saat disambangi awak media, ia mengaku bernama Dedi Puluhulawa (18) warga Desa Juria Kecamatan setempat. Dirinya menambahkan hal tersebut dilakukannya atas inisiatif sendiri dan tanpa perintah.
“Saya memang masyarakat asli desa Juria makanya saya berinisiatif membersihkan material longsor dan memindahkan bebatuan dari jalan raya. Saya tidak diperintahkan oleh siapapun” ungkap pahlawan desa Juria tersebut.
Lebih lanjut, Dedi menjelaskan alasan dirinya membersihkan material longsor tersebut agar supaya tidak terjadi kecelakaan. Ia menambahkan bahwa dirinya sangat peduli akan keselamatan pengendara yang melintas di desanya tersebut.

“Ya tujuan saya agar tidak akan ada kecelakaan disini. Apalagi sekarang batu-batu masih berjatuhan dari gunung. Saya khawatir keselamatan pengendara yang lewat diarea sini dapat terancam” ungkap Dedi peduli
Tak hanya itu, Dedi juga mengajak seluruh pemuda dan masyarakat khususnya di kecamatan Bilato untuk sama-sama peduli terhadap lingkungan serta keselamatan sesama.
“Saya mengajak teman-teman pemuda dan seluruh masyarakat Bilato supaya sama-sama peduli. Kalau ada longsor begini ya kita bersihkan bersama dan jangan sampai kalau lihat batu dijalan hanya kita acuhkan” ajak Dedi dengan tulus
Menanggapi hal tersebut, Kapolsek Boliyohuto Ipda Joe Purba, S.Tr.K saat dihubungi media via WhatsApp menyampaikan akan menindaklanjuti laporan longsor tersebut.
“Terima kasih informasinya, segera akan kami tindaklanjuti” ungkap Kapolsek
Lebih lanjut, Ipda Joe juga mengapresiasi tindakan pemuda Desa Juria tersebut. Ia juga menambahkan bahwa pihaknya akan segera menemui pahlawan muda kecamatan Bilato tersebut.
“Saya sudah bilang ke anggota Polsek cari pemuda pahlawan tersebut. Dan saya akan upaya sesegera mungkin untuk menemuinya” jelas Ipda Joe.
Tak hanya itu, Kapolsek muda milik Gorontalo tersebut juga berharap agar akan semakin banyak pemuda dan masyarakat yang dapat meniru tindakan terpuji Dedi Puluhulawa sang pahlawan tersebut.
“Saya sangat mengapresiasi bantuan serta kepedulian beliau terhadap lingkungan setempat, semoga Bang Dedi tidak bosan untuk menyuarakan kepedulian di tengah masyarakat dan semakin banyak individu yang mau bersama sama berkolaborasi menjaga lingkungan kita.
Meungkin setelah ini sya mau bertemu langsung dengan pak Dedi untuk mengucapkan terimakasih secara langaung karena sudah peduli dan mau membantu, berkolaborasi bersama Polri demi menjaga keselamatan pengguna jalan” tutup Ipda Joe.
