Kapolri Jenderal Listyo Sigit Prabowo bersama rombongan Pejabat utama dari Mabes Polri diantaranya Asrena Kapolri Irjen Pol Wahyu Hadiningrat, As SDM Kapolri Irjen Pol Wahyu Widada, Aslog Kapolri Irjen Pol R.P Argo Yuwono dan Dirtipidsiber Bareskrim Polri Brigjen Asep Edi Suheri pada Sabtu (06/08/2022) mengunjungi Mapolda Jawa Timur.
Kunjungan Kapolri beserta rombongan disambut hangat oleh Gubernur Jawa Timur Khofifah Indar Parawansa, Kapolda Jatim Irjen Pol Nico Afinta, Pangdam V Brawijaya yang dalam kesempatan ini diwakili Kapoksahli Kodam V Brigjen TNI Totok Suhartono serta pejabat utama Polda Jawa Timur di Gedung Mahameru Mapolda Jatim Jalan Ahmad Yani, Surabaya.
Pembangunan di lingkungan Polda Jatim merupakan kebutuhan yang mendasar bagi kesatuan dalam upaya mengoptimalkan kinerja, baik di bidang operasional maupun di bidang pembinaan. Hal tersebut sejalan dengan program Presisi Kapolri, dalam mendukung kebijakan transformasi organisasi dan transformasi pelayanan publik.
Diharapkan dengan selesainya pembangunan ini motivasi dan etos kerja personel meningkat, serta pelayanan Polri kepada masyarakat akan lebih optimal.
Dalam kesempatan ini, Kapolri Jenderal Listyo Sigit Prabowo secara simbolis meresmikan 6 gedung dengan menandatangani batu Prasasti, diantaranya Gedung Ditreskrimsus Polda Jatim 4 Lantai, Gedung parkir kendaraan roda empat yang dapat menampung kendaraan sebanyak 250 Mobil, Gedung parkir kendaraan roda dua yang dapat menampung kendaraan sebanyak 500 Sepeda motor, Gudang Bersama 2 Lantai, Renovasi Gedung Ditresnarkoba Polda Jatim, Renovasi Gedung Waspada Polda Jatim, Rumah pompa dengan kapasitas 1 meter kubik per detik untuk mengatasi banjir di lingkungan Mapolda Jatim, Renovasi rumah dinas type 90 sebanyak 9 unit dan type 70 sebanyak 12 unit.
Sedangkan untuk gedung Wisma Semeru 1 Polda Jatim terletak di jalan Indragiri Surabaya yang memiliki 2 Lantai terdiri dari 11 kamar tidur dan ruang Aula serbaguna diresmikan dan ditandangani batu prasastinya oleh Gubernur Jawa Timur Khofifah Indar Parawansa
Sedangkan saat ini sedang berlangsung pembangunan Gedung Ditreskrimum Polda Jatim 7 Lantai, yang direncanakan akan selesai pada akhir tahun ini, kemudian juga ada pembangunan tempat ibadah, yakni Gereja Oikumene โImanuelโ yang telah selesai dibangun dan sejak bulan lalu telah dipergunakan untuk ibadah.
