Kota Gorontalo – XposeTV. Jelang Natal 2024, Sat Samapta Polresta Gorontalo Kota dan Brimob Polda Gorontalo melaksanakan sterilisasi di sejumlah gereja yang ada di wilayah Kota Gorontalo, Selasa (24/12).
Kapolresta Gorontalo Kota Kombespol Dr. Ade Permana, S.I.K.,MH melalui kasat Samapta Kompol Asli,SH mengatakan bahwa sterilisasi gereja dilakukan untuk memastikan keamanan umat Kristiani yang akan menjalankan ibadah Natal, sekaligus mencegah potensi adanya gangguan keamanan di area sekitar gereja.
Lebih lanjut Kompol Asli menjelaskan,Kegiatan sterilisasi meliputi pemeriksaan lingkungan hingga pengawasan ketat di area gereja dimana personil Sat Samapta dan Sat Brimob menyisir setiap sudut lokasi, baik di dalam maupun di luar gereja, untuk memastikan tidak ada ancaman yang dapat mengganggu jalannya perayaan ibadah Natal.

“Kegiatan ini merupakan wujud komitmen Polresta Gorontalo Kota dalam memberikan rasa aman dan nyaman kepada umat Kristiani dan Kami ingin memastikan perayaan Natal berlangsung khidmat tanpa gangguan,” ujar Kompol Asli
Diharapkan dengan upaya ini, suasana yang kondusif dapat terjaga di wilayah hukum Polresta Gorontalo Kota sehingga masyarakat dapat menjalankan aktivitas ibadah dan perayaan dengan penuh kedamaian, tutup Kompol Asli
