Selama menjadi Kapolri, Sigit pun telah melakukan mewujudkan semangat transformasi Polri yang Presisi dengan memaksimalkan fungsi pokok Polri yang melayani, melindungi dan mengayomi masyarakat.
Dalam pelaksanaan Transformasi menuju Polri yang Presisi tak melulu bicara soal penegakan hukum. Kapolri pun mengenalkan konsep restorative justice yaitu penyelesaian perkara di luar peradilan.
Dalam rilis akhir tahun 2021, Polri telah merampungkan sebanyak 11.811 perkara melalui restorative justice. Angka ini meningkat sebesar 28,3 persen dibanding tahun 2020, dimana perkara yang diselesaikan melalui restorative justice sebanyak 9.199 perkara.
Di masa transformasi menuju Presisi, Kepala Divisi Humas Polri Irjen Pol Dedi Prasetyo mengatakan, Kapolri memang menginstruksikan pendekatan-pendekatan secara restorative justice untuk menyelesaikan masalah, khususnya pada kasus yang dinilai dapat diselesaikan secara musyawarah dan mufakat.
“Karena justru masyarakat menginginkan ini bisa diselesaikan khususnya masalah-masalah kecil. Kalau dinaikkan memunculkan polemik dimana rasa keadilan, khususnya masyarakat harusnya kita bantu,” kata Dedi.
“Hanya karena kepastian hukum berjalan, akhirnya bermunculan kasus memunculkan pandangan yang tidak bagus terkait rasa keadilan yang harus diperjuangkan khususnya masyarakat kecil,” sambungnya.
Sepanjang tahun 2021 dan 2022, Polri juga mempunyai tugas penanganan pandemi Covid-19. Dedi menuturkan, Polri melakukan akselerasi percepatan vaksinasi hingga pelosok daerah.
“Sepanjang 2021, capaian vaksinasi Covid-19 yang dilakukan Polri serta jajarannya hingga tingkat Polsek mencapai 61,24 persen dosis 1 dan 41,46 persen untuk dosis 2,” ujarnya.
Kontribusi Polri dalam upaya Pemerintah menciptakan kekebalan komunal atau herd immunity sebesar 17,73 persen dosis 1 dan 16,79 persen dosis 2.
Polri mencatat pelayanan vaksinasi di tingkat pusat hingga jajaran dengan menggunakan jenis vaksin Sinovac, Astrazeneca, Moderna, Coronavac, Biovac sebanyak lebih dari 30 juta kali kegiatan sepanjang 2021.
Pelayanan vaksinasi ini turut serta membuat Polri meningkatkan fasilitas kesehatan di 52 rumah sakit Bhayangkara. Sehingga rumah-rumah sakit milik Polri mampu merawat pasien Covid-19.
“Dalam upaya vaksinasi selama 2021, Polri mengerahkan tenaga medis yang terdiri dari 128 dokter, 162 bidan, dan 360 hingga 7.534 vaksinator,” katanya.

Tak hanya Brigjen Juansih, terdapat seorang Polwan yang diamanahkan sebagai Kapolres Bukittinggi. Ada pula seorang Polwan mendapat promosi menjadi Kabag Penum Divisi Humas Polri, yaitu Kombes Nurul Azizah.
Selain itu, ada AKBP dr Siti Nur Imanta yang dipromosi sebagai Karumkit Tk 2 Bandung Polda Jabar. AKBP Titik Wahyuningsih sebagai Kabidkeu Polda Banten, Kombes Endang Sri wahyu Utami Kabidkeu Polda Bali, Kombes Heni Kresnowati Kabidkeu Polda Jabar, dan Kombes Yuliani Kabidkum Polda Banten.
Dedi mengatakan penempatan Polwan di posisi strategis ini merupakan komitmen Kapolri dalam kesetaraan gender.
