XPOSE TV//Gorontalo – Hari Kedua Operasi Patuh Keselamatan Lalu Lintas 2026 yang digelar oleh Satuan Lalu Lintas (Satlantas) Polres Bonebolango memasuki hari kedua pelaksanaan, Selasa (3/2). Operasi ini dipimpin langsung oleh Kanit Turjawali Satlantas Polres Bonebolango, Ipda Irvan Uwata, dengan menyasar sejumlah titik rawan pelanggaran di wilayah hukum Polres Bonebolango. Rabu (4/2/2026).
Dalam pelaksanaan operasi tersebut, petugas tampak melakukan pemeriksaan terhadap pengendara roda dua maupun roda empat, baik kelengkapan kendaraan maupun kelengkapan administrasi pengemudi. Dari hasil pemeriksaan di lapangan, petugas masih menemukan sejumlah pelanggaran lalu lintas yang berpotensi membahayakan keselamatan pengguna jalan.
Adapun sasaran utama Operasi Patuh Keselamatan Lalu Lintas 2026 meliputi penggunaan knalpot brong yang tidak sesuai spesifikasi teknis, pengendara yang tidak memiliki atau tidak dapat menunjukkan SIM dan STNK, serta pengendara kendaraan roda empat yang tidak menggunakan sabuk pengaman (safety belt) saat berkendara.
Ipda Irvan Uwata menjelaskan bahwa penggunaan knalpot brong tidak hanya melanggar aturan, tetapi juga mengganggu kenyamanan masyarakat serta berpotensi memicu kecelakaan lalu lintas. Selain itu, kepemilikan SIM dan STNK merupakan bukti legalitas dan kompetensi pengendara yang wajib dimiliki saat berada di jalan raya.
“Keselamatan berlalu lintas bukan hanya tanggung jawab polisi, tetapi tanggung jawab bersama. Operasi ini kami laksanakan sebagai upaya meningkatkan kesadaran masyarakat agar lebih disiplin dan patuh terhadap aturan,” tegas Ipda Irvan di sela-sela kegiatan.
Dari pantauan di lapangan, beberapa kendaraan terjaring razia karena pengendaranya tidak dapat menunjukkan SIM saat dilakukan pemeriksaan. Terhadap pelanggaran tersebut, petugas memberikan tindakan sesuai dengan ketentuan yang berlaku, disertai dengan edukasi dan imbauan agar ke depan lebih tertib dalam berlalu lintas.
Operasi Patuh Keselamatan Lalu Lintas 2026 ini bertujuan untuk menekan angka pelanggaran dan kecelakaan lalu lintas, sekaligus membangun budaya tertib berlalu lintas di tengah masyarakat Kabupaten Bonebolango. Diharapkan, melalui operasi ini, kesadaran masyarakat akan pentingnya keselamatan di jalan raya semakin meningkat.
Satlantas Polres Bonebolango mengimbau seluruh pengguna jalan agar selalu mematuhi peraturan lalu lintas, menggunakan perlengkapan keselamatan, serta melengkapi surat-surat kendaraan demi keselamatan diri sendiri dan pengguna jalan lainnya.
