Roy menyakini bahwa kapal kapal tersebut sudah tidak sesuai dengan catatan yang ada maka hal ini perlunya ada sidak dari pihak terkait yaitu Dinas Kelautan dan Perikanan Kabupaten dan Provinsi untuk memastikan apakah kapal bantuan yang dikhususkan kepada pada kelompok nelayan diPesisir kabupaten Boalemo itu masih ada atau sudah berpindah tempat ke daerah lain.
Roy pun menilai ketidak aktifnya fungsi pengawasan Dinas Kelautan dan Perikanan Provinsi Gorontalo di wilayah barat pesisir boalemo dalam hal pengecekan secara langsung dilapangan.

Sehingga ini yang membuat Roy mendesak KKP RI untuk menyurati secara resmi Dinas Perikanan dan Kelautan Provinsi Gorontalo agar lebih aktif lakukan pemantauan ke wilayah barat kabupaten Boalemo dan Kabupaten Pohuwato.
“Jangan hanya selalu mengandalkan laporan dari PokMasWas wilayah barat Boalemo dan Pohuwato tanpa harus turun langsung memantau ke lokasi” ucap Roy mengakhiri wawancara dengan awak media.
