Foto – Berbagi Hasil Panen WBP ke Warga Sekitar Lapas, Wujud Bakti Sosial peringatan HBP ke 61
Lamongan, XposeTv.live – Dalam rangka memperingati Hari Bhakti Pemasyarakatan (HBP) ke-61, Lapas Kelas IIB Lamongan mengadakan kegiatan bakti sosial dengan membagikan hasil panen Warga Binaan Pemasyarakatan (WBP) kepada warga sekitar lingkungan lapas. Kegiatan ini menjadi bentuk nyata kepedulian dan kontribusi pemasyarakatan terhadap masyarakat sekaligus bagian dari implementasi pembinaan kemandirian bagi WBP. 14 Januari 2025.
Hasil panen yang dibagikan berupa berbagai jenis sayuran dan tanaman pangan yang selama ini dibudidayakan oleh para WBP melalui program pembinaan kemandirian di lahan pertanian milik Lapas Lamongan.
Kalapas Lamongan, Heri Sulistyo, menyampaikan bahwa kegiatan ini merupakan refleksi dari semangat pemasyarakatan modern yang tidak hanya fokus pada aspek keamanan, tetapi juga mengedepankan nilai-nilai produktivitas, kepedulian sosial, dan kemanusiaan.
“Kegiatan berbagi hasil panen ini adalah bukti bahwa warga binaan juga mampu berkarya dan memberi manfaat bagi masyarakat. Ini adalah bagian dari upaya kami dalam membina mereka menjadi pribadi yang lebih baik sekaligus berkontribusi untuk lingkungan,” ujar Heri Sulistyo.
Ia juga menambahkan bahwa kegiatan ini selaras dengan Program Asta Cita Presiden Republik Indonesia, terutama dalam penguatan ketahanan pangan dan pemberdayaan masyarakat, serta mendukung akselerasi transformasi pemasyarakatan yang terus digalakkan oleh Menteri Hukum dan HAM RI melalui Direktorat Jenderal Pemasyarakatan.
Warga sekitar menyambut baik kegiatan tersebut, bahkan beberapa mengungkapkan rasa syukur dan terima kasih atas perhatian dan kepedulian dari Lapas Lamongan.
Melalui kegiatan ini, Lapas Lamongan menegaskan komitmennya untuk terus hadir dan bermanfaat di tengah masyarakat, sejalan dengan semangat HBP ke-61: Transformasi Pemasyarakatan yang Berdampak Nyata.
