“Maka di tangan BPD lah kunci keberhasilan program-program desa baik melalui dana desa (DD), alokasi dana desa (ADD) dan bagi hasil pajak serta program yang berasal dari sumber lainnya. Tanpa legalitas BPD, pemerintahan desa tidak bisa berjalan,” kata Zamroni. Senin (12/06/2023).

Zamroni menambahkan, pelatihan peningkatan kapasitas bagi BPD ini sangat penting, meskipun Ketua dan anggota BPD sendiri berlatar belakang dari tokoh masyarakat, alan tetapi sebagian besar latar belakang BPD tidak mendalami tentang pemerintahan.

“Dengan adanya pelatihan ini diharapkan ketua atau anggota BPD yang ada di Kabupaten Lamongan semakin memahami aturan dan regulasi yang ada,” imbuhnya.

Zamroni pun juga berharap BPD bisa melaksanakan tugas dan fungsinya sesuai amanah yang diberikan pemerintah sehingga pemerintahan desa dapat dilaksanakan dengan baik.

Sementara itu Kabid Pemerintahan Desa, Ismaun dalam laporannya menyampaikan, pelatihan peningkatan kapasitas anggota BPD se-Kabupaten lamongan tahun anggaran 2023 diikuti sebanyak 30 orang ketua atau anggota BPD.

Ismaun menambahkan, melalui pelatihan ini diharapkan ketua atau anggota BPD menjadi terlatih, anggota BPD akuntabel, tertib administrasi bertambah wawasan dan pengetahuannya.
