Ratatotok, Minahasa Tenggara – XposeTV. insiden penembakan di lokasi Pertambangan Tanpa Izin (PETI) di Ratatotok, Minahasa Tenggara, mencuat ke permukaan dan memicu sorotan publik. Klarifikasi terbaru mengungkap bahwa tambang ilegal tersebut bukan milik Sie You Ho, seperti yang sempat diberitakan sebelumnya.
Juru bicara Sie You Ho, Donald Pakuku, menegaskan bahwa kliennya sudah lama tidak terlibat dalam aktivitas pertambangan ilegal. “Sudah lama berhenti menambang. Bahkan juga lama tidak ke Mitra dan lebih banyak berada di Jakarta,” ujar Pakuku.
Menurut Pakuku, lokasi PETI tempat insiden penembakan terjadi sebenarnya dimiliki oleh Yang Lin, seorang warga asing pemegang paspor China. Lahan tersebut disewa Yang Lin dari Gao Yu Ven sejak tahun 2022, awalnya untuk keperluan usaha perkebunan. “Entah kenapa kemudian muncul aktivitas pertambangan yang diketahui tanpa izin alias ilegal,” jelas Pakuku.
Pakuku juga membantah anggapan bahwa Sie You Ho adalah Warga Negara Asing (WNA). Ia menegaskan bahwa You Ho telah menyandang status Warga Negara Indonesia (WNI) selama 30 tahun. “Saya menyayangkan pemberitaan yang menyebut You Ho sebagai WNA China yang terlibat dalam PETI. Ini momentum yang tepat untuk kami jelaskan siapa You Ho, agar ke depan jika ada isu PETI di Alason, nama You Ho tidak lagi dihubung-hubungkan,” tegasnya.

Terkait motif penyerangan di lokasi PETI milik Yang Lin, Pakuku menyarankan agar publik menunggu konfirmasi resmi dari pihak kepolisian. “Saya memahami dinamika yang terjadi di area pertambangan, tapi saya percaya polisi memiliki otoritas untuk memberikan keterangan kepada masyarakat,” ujarnya.
Sebelumnya, Polda Sulawesi Utara (Sulut) mengonfirmasi terjadinya penyerangan di lokasi PETI yang menyebabkan aparat keamanan terdesak dan akhirnya melepaskan tembakan. Salah satu peluru mengenai kepala seorang warga setempat hingga menyebabkan korban meninggal dunia.
Insiden ini kembali menyoroti persoalan legalitas aktivitas pertambangan ilegal di wilayah tersebut serta potensi konflik yang dapat timbul akibat kurangnya pengawasan. Masyarakat berharap adanya kejelasan hukum dan penegakan aturan yang lebih ketat terhadap PETI agar peristiwa serupa tidak terulang di masa mendatang.
